War Memorial Wall of Honor

War Memorial.jpg

VRP's War Memorial Wall of Honor pays tribute to our fallen soldiers and honor the men and women who served in the armed forces. The Memorial is outside the Veterans Resource Program house on 934 Maine Ave in Richmond.

The wall consists of eight plaques and was a collaborative effort with veterans and our partners to help bring a military awareness to our community. Two of the plaques on the Wall of Honor contain the names of those Richmond residents who lost their lives in combat during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. The other plaque lists those veterans who served and are still with us. The last five plaques represent the veterans who served in each of the five armed service branches: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy.

Do you know of a veteran that should be honored on our wall? Please submit the veteran's full name, rank and branch of service, by calling 510-233-9313 or email us at veteransnet@gmail.com.
